The Tale of Fairy Syntheia
A Once-Upon-A-Time Adventure of Joy, Wonder, and Sparkle
Once upon a time, in a little beach town nestled between tall trees and quiet dreams, there lived a curious girl named Syntheia. She had a heart too big for her body and eyes that always searched the sky—not for answers, but for adventures. She always saw the good in people and dreamed of all the possibilities.
From the moment she could speak, she said things like, “I’m going to change the world,” and “ i’d love to connect deeply…”—and everyone who met her believed she just might.
Syntheia didn’t want an ordinary life. She wanted an extraordinary life!
She wanted beauty, and depth, and adventure.
So she packed her sketchbooks and her soul full of questions, and set off to study art, hoping to capture the world with color.
She wandered through the sunlit galleries of Italy, where marble angels wept and paintings hummed secrets. She roamed the markets of Mexico, where every woven fabric told a story and music floated like magic in the air. She scribbled in journals, learned how to see in brushstrokes, and whispered to statues when no one was looking.
But when she tried to make a living from it—something changed.
The colors dimmed.
The joy disappeared.
And she whispered, “Maybe the world doesn’t need more art and paintings. Maybe it needs something else.”
What was I born to do?
So Syntheia turned her gaze inward and walked toward a different kind of magic—The Heart and Soul of Midwifery.
She studied hard. She learned how to become an absolutely amazing birth doula. In her role as a Doula, she often felt that she was a translator in a foreign land. She learned from the medical and the traditional midwives how to welcome new breath into the world.
How to listen, really listen.
And when she found midwifery, it was like the universe opened every door: she traveled all over America, welcoming babies in city hospitals and cabin kitchens. She even found herself deep in Alaska, and high in the mountains of Mexico, where mothers and midwives taught her ancient songs and sacred silences.
But still… late at night, under the stars, Syntheia would ask the sky:
“Is there more joy for me?”
“Is there more joy for them?”
“Where is the magic that lasts?”
And then one night—it came.
A shooting star streaked across the sky like a ribbon of light.
And without thinking, Syntheia closed her eyes and wished.
She wished for something joyful.
Something that could touch every soul, no matter how tired or grown-up.
She wished to give the world back its childlike wonder.
The next morning, she woke to a soft shimmer in her room.
Tiny footsteps danced on the windowsill.
And then—there they were.
The Fairies.
They wore gowns of moonlight and eyes full of mischief. And one with lavender wings stepped forward and placed a single strand of shimmering Fairy Hair in Syntheia’s hand.
“This,” the Fairy said, “is not just a fairies hair. It’s joy—woven in a way the world can see.”
“Take it,” another whispered, “and share it.
Let them sparkle again.
Let them remember how to feel magic.”
And just like that, the sparkle took root in her heart.
Syntheia became Fairy Syntheia,
a bringer of beauty and boldness, laughter and light.
She traveled the land once more—not to catch babies or sell art,
but to fuse tiny glimmers of magic into the hair of every soul who needed to feel seen, special, and extraordinary. Maybe even extra, extraordinary!!
And everywhere she went, people smiled.
They gasped.
They cried happy tears.
They said amazing words like: “ Every time I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror my heart starts to flutter like I’m newly in love. I love Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair®️”
Soon, others came to join the fairy tales —each drawn to the magic, each trained by Fairy Syntheia and her extraordinary administration team and all of their fairy kin.
They wore wings and kindness. They magically fused sparkle into the hair of strangers and left behind trails of wonder.
Together, they became known as the Official Finklepott Fairies, and they began to change the world—one shimmer at a time.
⸻
And so the story goes:
When you see a sparkle in someone’s hair, you’re not just seeing Finklepott’s Fairy Hair.
You’re seeing a wish come true.
A little piece of childlike wonder returned to the grown-up world.
A reminder from Fairy Syntheia and her Fairies:
Magic is real. Joy is contagious. And you—you are absolutely meant to shine.
