Yes! You can wash it, comb it, brush it, blow dry it, curl it, flat iron it (up to 450º degrees!), color it, bleach it, perm it, whatever you do to your normal hair. But most of all, ENJOY IT!

Each strand is fused to a single strand of your own hair, so each one lasts as long as that one piece of hair stays on your head. It could be a day, a week, a month, several months, or even up to a year! Most adults retain their Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair® for a few months. Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair® typically does not last as long in young children (8 and under) because of their shedding patterns. Please be aware of this when making your purchase. We find plenty of exceptions to this rule, and no matter what, getting fairy hair is a magical experience for all ages!

Clients have told us that a few can fall out right away -in a day or 2, so we ALWAYS give a few extras for free because we know this can happen. The first few that fly away are on us!

We join them to a single strand of your own hair using a Finklepott Fairy Hair® Magical Fusion technique that only a Finkelpott Fairy is magical enough to apply our fabulous sparkles to your hair. There is no heat, no glue, and we guarantee no damage to your hair.

It takes minutes for us to work our magic, but can vary based on the number of strands you purchase. Your Official Finklepott Fairy can give you that information when you are ready to schedule your appointment, or it can be found on the event sign-up.

When you shed your human hair, your Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair® will come out with it.

Yes, however, Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair® typically does not last as long in young children (8 and under) because of their shedding patterns. Please be aware of this when making your purchase. We find plenty of exceptions to this rule, and no matter what, getting Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair® is a magical experience for all ages! While we don't have a specific age for a child to receive Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair®, there are three requirements that must be met in order to receive Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair®:

1. The child must be able to speak in full sentences in order to give verbal consent to receive fairy hair.

2. The child must be able to sit in the chair by themself.

3. The child needs to be able to sit still while receiving Finklepott’s Original Fairy Hair®.

All fairy hair recipients must have clean DRY hair, brushed, WITHOUT PRODUCT (absolutely no leave-in conditioners or hair spray), and free of clips or ties.

No need. You can do everything you normally do with your hair. You can get a haircut with it, or color your hair, etc.

We got you. Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair® can be applied to curly hair. Our Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair® is designed to mimic your human hair and will take the shape of your hair. We recommend that you take an extra few minutes to twist the strands into your curly locks to help it take shape. Please visit our photo gallery for photos as evidence.

Yes, Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair® can be applied to hair extensions.

Yes. Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair® can be applied to short hair, too. Your hair just needs to be 2-3 inches in length for your Finklepott Fairy to work their magic.

We offer stud sparkles. Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair® is not just for ladies. Guys deserve to sparkle too. We offer beards and mustaches too, just as long as the hair to be sparkled is long enough for us to work our Fairy Magic in. We need about 3 inches to work with.

We stand by the safety and quality of Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair®. We can’t combine our product with strands of unknown origin. Only a Finklepott Fairy can apply our product.

Only an Official Finklepott Fairy can apply our magical product. We have a proprietary product that we don't resell. Please stay tuned to our website to find a Finklepott Fairy near you.

This is our Finklepott Family business; we use a proprietary product that is ours exclusively, it can’t be bought on the internet and we don’t resell. Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair® is NOT the inexpensive hair tinsel that falls out immediately or worse, can melt your hair or skin if heat is applied. As we have gained popularity, many have tried to imitate us. The magic to our success is in our magical product that has been blessed and cultivated by actual fairies. We are unfortunately not able to do what we do in a salon.

We are available for any and all kinds of parties, events, and celebrations. Not limited to: birthday parties, sip & sparkle parties, baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, corporate events & staff appreciation, private appointments, conferences, in-store events, women's parties, holiday parties, athletic events, bat mitzvahs, quinceaneras, bachelorette parties, etc. Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair® is fun anywhere!

1. Party Booking: Parties are when the host or hostess pays the Official Finklepott Fairy to sparkle guests at the event. Our rates start at $300, which is 100 strands plus a travel fee of $1/mile round trip as calculated by Maps/Waze/Mapquest. Often this is 10 guests getting 10 strands each, but can also be 5 guests receiving 20 strands each or any combination that adds up to 100 strands. Sometimes, due to distance, we may require 150 stands or 200 strands.

2. Mixers are when each guest pays for their own Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair® at the event. A guest minimum is required, and it is based on the distance that your Fairy must travel. The Fairy will then provide you with an event invitation to share with your guests as a SignUp Genius link. Two days before the event, your guests will receive a reminder of their appointment. A commitment of the required minimum must show on the SignUp Genius within 48 hours of the event. If your minimum has not been reached, at the discretion of the Fairy, your event may be canceled or rescheduled to another date where your minimum requirement may be obtained successfully. This type of event is perfect for a sip and sparkle party, ladies' night, church group, or book club event. Or even as a team-builder at your place of work!
3. Business Events: We are available for pop-up and corporate events. Christmas/Holiday parties are often booked up to a year in advance. It is never too early to save your date! With this option we start at $150 per hour with a minimum of 3 hours plus travel fee ($1/mile) We fuse 2-3 strands of Finklepotts Original Fairy hair® for up to 3 hours.

Since 2010. Our Fairy Goddess Mother, creator and purveyor of Finkelpott's Original Fairy Hair® worked with the fairies to create this magical hair for you to wear.

We have heard feedback from our clients who have kept their Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair® in for an MRI and it has not affected the results. However, we recommend that you remove them if you are having a scan of your head. While there is no metal in our product, it is reflective and we encourage you to eliminate any possibility of interfering with your data. We understand it is an expensive test and we would recommend waiting to have the strands placed until after the procedure. Your health and safety is our top priority.
